Not a lot of people know this but my site designer Bob Sharp is weird about chickens. He worships them! He talks to them even, like they were human people — only with feathers. I know that if it was legal he would have little three-piece suits made for them- ladies cut- and frocks of course, 'cos we must never forget that they are girls after all- chicks!- only real chicks. They have always made me laugh because they look so intense and their movements are slow and cautious- and that is not, in any way, a chauvinist jibe...

'I was never much of a cook and I admire people who can knock up a delicious meal from practically nothing. I think this print is testimony to the relationship between me and food around the place. I could never support the pressure that chefs must be subject to. I think I would try to do my best but I would worry that the chief man was also not in control and the kitchen would be a hell hole not fit for man nor beast. Something unthinkable would ensue and I guess this is a fair reflection of the predicament I imagine would result from my uneasy experience!'

Hunter on Ducati

This is new print which is a facsimile print exactly the same size as the original drawing of Hunter Thompson track-testing a Ducati Super Sport motorbike to destruction. As with the original I have bled the image off the handmade matt paper page and signed it as an edition of 100 copies- size 32" X 23". I have signed it in ink along the bottom of the print out of 100 which, apart from that looks identical to the original.'
